Key Responsibilities:

Key Requirements:

* Extensive experience working in a senior management role within a residential children’s care setting
* A thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements for children’s homes in England
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team of staff
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with external stakeholders and young people
* Strong financial management skills.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the home, providing a high standard of care to children and young people, and ensuring that the home meets all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and management to the care team, including recruiting, training and supervising staff.
• Ensure that the home provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people, and that their needs are met in line with their care plans.
• Ensure that the home operates within regulatory requirements and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with external agencies, such as social services and the Care Quality Commission.
• Manage the financial and administrative aspects of the home, including budgets, reports and records.
• Implement quality assurance processes to continuously improve the standards of care provided.
• Ensure that staff are trained and equipped to handle challenging behaviour, and that they have the necessary skills to support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
